Welcome to the Bonsai Society of Southern Ohio (BSSO) homepage! We are a new and fledgling Society currently seeking contacts from persons interested in becoming members. The scope of this Society is to serve the rural Southern Ohio region, mainly Highland, Adams, Ross, and neighboring and nearby counties; in time this area may expand to encompass most of southern Ohio (hence the name).

 We welcome any and all persons interested in the art of Bonsai, at any level. If you’re like me and enjoy rural living and are not too enthusiastic about traveling to the “big cities” just to enjoy and share our interest in Bonsai then this is the club for you!

 As mentioned, we are a fledgling Society, just beginning, and currently have no meetings or events scheduled but will begin doing so as we build up a membership base of at least 10 members. So please, contact me by e-mail to add your name to our list of members. Membership dues are only $10 per year. These dues will be waived until we get enough members to get up and running. We need your support to help make the Bonsai Society of Southern Ohio a great one! Future plans include meetings, an annual picnic, and other events to be decided by the members.
